Although Bishan-AMK Park is bound on almost all sides by residential estates, this park offers an interesting mix of birdlife, from sunbirds, orioles, munias, to kingfishers and herons. The trees and vegetation are well spaced out making it relatively easy to see birds in this park. This 2-3 hour walk (from 7.30 am) is suitable for novice birders as well as nature lovers who are keen to take up birdwatching. Our guide from NSS Bird Group, Lee Ee Ling will share handy tips on birdwatching including bird identification, habitat, optics and equipment.

Things to Bring
Bring along a pair of binoculars, sun-hat, water for hydration, rain gear and wear proper walking shoes and wear light appropriate clothing to prevent insect bites.
